Totally overhauling the way they operate and to integrate their services, BT are investing £10bn in their 21st Century Network (21CN) infrastructure.
Allport have been contracted by one of eight key partners to assist BT in realising their ambitious objectives. The multi-million pound, three year contract, will see Allport vehicles deliver, position and install the power system that will support the new network.
Since 1973 Allport Specialist Services have developed systems, facilities, vehicles and delivery crews for the handling of telecoms equipment and provided international transport, distribution, offload, positioning and installation of base stations for the internet, 1st 2nd and 3rd generation mobile networks.
These unique abilities are recognised by BT, who have awarded Specialist Services contracts in their own right for equipment installation and removals.
Allport continue discussions with a number of the remaining 21CN partners and look forward to being part of the next major advance in communications.
