Allport Overland has announced the opening of a dedicated receiving hub for Europe and North Africa in Leeds.
Strategically located for easy access to the M1, A1(M) and M62, the new hub feeds directly into the Allport trunking system, which runs 24/7 through Manchester up to Scotland and down to the home counties.

Allport Overland MD, John Williams, commented. "The weaker pound is boosting demand for UK exports, but manufacturers in the North East still need to compete for their business, especially in new Eastern European countries. I am eager to do what I can to support my customers in providing a faster more cost competitive offering."
"The new Leeds hub gives us the flexibility to handle later bookings of a few kilos up to full trailer loads - up to the weekend - with departure the same day."
