Allport listed by the Sunday Times

Allport once again make the Sunday Times, Top Track 250, list of mid-market private companies.

Stricter selection and the economic downturn have had a marked impact on the list. The Sunday Times identified six companies, previously listed, that had gone into administration and others excluded due to the new profit measure.

Climbing 33 places during 2008, Allport are listed 100th in this latest survey; the only international freight forwarder.

Allport managing director, Derek Davis, commented. "I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the efforts of all my colleagues and the support of all our customers, for helping us achieve this recognition, in what are very challenging economic conditions."
