Allport believe that packaging should be assessed for its efficiency on a number of levels including cost of raw material, labour, assembly, its impact on transport cost and disposal. Allport constantly strive for opportunities to reduce supply chain costs by providing cheaper packaging, changing pack materials, altering the way product is packed, lowering pack weight, or reducing total pack size.
